More than 80 laps for Cetilar Villorba Corse withCipriani/Nasrat Le Castellet
Italian and Brazilian drivers tested the Dallara P217 Gibson for the first time on Wednesday
.Cetilar Villorba Corse tested for more than 80 laps with Giuseppe Cipriani and Felipe Nasr on the Dallara P217 Gibson at Le Castellet. Italian and Brazilian drivers shared the LMP2 prototype for the first time during an intense test session held on Wednesday at the Paul Ricard circuit, profitably working with the team led by Raimondo Amadio. The car coveredabout 500 kilometres on different setup settings without any issues and both drivers could also test with new tyres.
Team Principal Amadiosaid:“Data and results we gathered are very positive and we are happy with the drivers' job. We did well both on distance covered and reliability and we are surprised by the level of competitiveness that Cipriani was able to show and by how quickly Nasr did settle in the team”.
Felipe Nasradded: “It was great to be back in an Italian team. I found a pleasant and very professional environment, theirexcellent debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans was not a coincidence. I knew that Dallara was fast, I found the Gibson engine very powerful and also the relationship with Cipriani started very well. It would be a pleasure to continue this new all-Italian chapter in my career”.
