Norbert Michelisz has vowed to take advantage of any opportunities handed to him as he chases the 2019 WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO. GIROLAMI OPEN TO HELPING GUERRIERI’S WTCR TITLE PUSH
Néstor Girolami has hinted that he will sacrifice trying to win the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO if it helped to ensure that his Honda-powered team-mate Esteban Guerrieri came out on top at the end of the season-finale in Malaysia. PRIAULX PROUD TO RACE WITH SON DURING WTCR SUMMER BREAK
Andy Priaulx was in action against son Sebastian during the British GT Championship round at the legendary Spa-Francorchamps last weekend. Linking up with multiple Olympic gold medallist Sir Chris Hoy, Priaulx Sr placed P14 in his category but was more thrilled by the prospect of being on track as the same time as his son. BREAKTHROUGH PWR WTCR WIN “TRULY” DESERVED
New team PWR Racing enters the WTCR summer break on a high following its maiden triumph in Portugal. Making its debut in the WTCR – FIA World Touring Car Cup presented by OSCARO at the start of this season, the Swedish squad has punched above its weight with a succession of strong performances. The most recent came on the streets of Vila Real when Mikel Azcona triumphed in Race 2 – the team’s sixth international race weekend – at the wheel of his CUPRA TCR.
